I had the pleasure of illustrating the cover and interior illustrations for this delightful book written by Mala Kumar and published by Hachette India. Written with fun and humour, the author describes how many of the things that are now commonplace in India actually had interesting origins, coming from various countries and kingdoms and in all sorts of ways – by land, sea or trade and even as gifts, through diplomats, kings, queen and so on.
